Christian Camp Lifeguard Summer Jobs

Sitting Poolside and Keeping Kids Safe!

Ready to put your love of safety, water, kids, and God together? Let’s go!

Get trained in all things Lifeguarding and Pool safety/maintenance + watch campers and staff thrive in their FAVORITE spot on camp as they cool off every afternoon.

We are now hiring exceptional high school seniors, college-age students, and teachers for paid full summer lifeguard positions at our Christian camp near Kansas City, Missouri!

The ideal candidate LOVES staring at water, interacting with kids while also keeping them safe, and playing the sickest beats on camp (seriously, you have the best music).

Our guards take pride in keeping the pools pristine, work well with a team, and secretly have the best cannonball jump at camp (but also not a secret).

Why Heartland is One of the Best Christian Camps to Work At:

“This work and living in community together is the closest thing I’ve ever seen to what I believe Jesus had hoped for us. It is a holy place where heaven meets earth just for a few months. You don’t want to miss it. You will be changed forever.”

— Andrea

“I have seen God work in my heart to give me more of a servant's heart! This used to not be true, but I have grown to LOVE serving others and throwing my energy into helping people when they need it.”

— Jessica

“I have done things I never saw myself doing, like getting certified to facilitate the high ropes, surviving the wilderness (and enjoying it), and jumping off a thirty-six-foot pole. Each week God calls me to trust Him more and to trust those around me. Step out of fear and into faith.”

— Josh
