The ideal candidate leads our summer staff with energy, enthusiasm, and a love for the Lord. They are adaptive, hard-working, and a problem solver + LOVE TO CREATE FUN.
This position loves teaching kids about God, supporting other staff any way they can, and loving our campers and their families.
JOB DETAILS:
We are now hiring exceptional Christian high school seniors, college-age students, and teachers for paid, full or partial summer assistant director jobs at our camp near Kansas City, Missouri!
We have many of these positions. Some live on-site, and others lead mission teams across the United States’ midwest to host Day Camps at churches. We will help you decide which would use your gifts the best after an interview!
Employment Dates: 5/17 - 8/15
Given Time Off: 6/30-7/4 will be given off

Benefits: Housing (in our largest air-conditioned lodge), laundry facilities, and delicious meals are provided.
Experience: No experience is necessary, all training is provided!
Pay:
Parkville, MO Day Camp & Overnight Camp: $3,120 ($260/Week for 12 Weeks)
Returning staff are awarded a bonus each year that they work with us

Each summer staff will have a permanent bed for the entire summer in our largest air-conditioned lodge on camp. (It’s yours on weekends and holidays too).
It’s a giant house where you get to live, play games and eat unlimited snacks with new friends. Yeah, it really is awesome.
You’ll have space to store all your belongings, recharge, and rest.

If a vacation opportunity comes up after you’ve been hired, we’ll let you know how to submit requests.

Parkville Assistant Directors (Day Camp and Overnight) have from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon off each week.
Enough time to make weekend memories, do some laundry, and take a good long nap!
For Parkville Day Camp Only: Sunday - Thurs evening includes staff worship. Day Camp Staff can go offsite, run errands, recharge or hang out with our community in the evenings.

Our “camp” food is top-notch if we do say so ourselves!
Meals are provided during all days you are working.
Meals during your off time might be available but are not guaranteed. We will let you know if they are!
We can accommodate dietary needs and allergies.

For Parkville Assistant Directors:
Want some more moolah? We offer optional work opportunities on the weekends!
We have groups who rent our facilities and we provide lifeguards, meals, ropes course adventures, horse rides, etc.
We pay hourly and it’s a great way to add to your savings or buy all the sonic slushies you could dream of.
We let our summer staff know each week what opportunities are available so that they can sign up if they’re interested!
